Product Schema
Product name, price, currency, availability, condition, brand, and GTIN implemented as JSON-LD on every product page - enabling Google's rich product results with price and availability displayed in search.
JSON-LD structured data injected into your Shopify store - Product, Review, FAQ, BreadcrumbList, Organization, and more - so Google can show rich snippets and AI assistants can cite your store accurately.
Product name, price, currency, availability, condition, brand, and GTIN implemented as JSON-LD on every product page - enabling Google's rich product results with price and availability displayed in search.
AggregateRating schema injected from your review app data - enabling star ratings to appear in Google search results for product pages that have sufficient reviews.
Company name, founding date, address, contact details, and social profiles structured as Organization or LocalBusiness schema - establishing entity recognition for Google and AI assistants.
FAQ sections on service, collection, and blog pages marked up as FAQPage schema - enabling FAQ rich results in Google search and improving the likelihood of AI assistants citing your answers.
Breadcrumb structured data on every inner page - product, collection, blog, and supporting pages - enabling breadcrumb display in search results and improving site structure signals.
Blog posts and editorial content marked up as Article schema - with author, publish date, and headline - improving indexation signals and enabling AI search attribution.
Your Shopify store is missing rich snippets in Google search results - no star ratings on product pages, no FAQ results, no breadcrumbs - because the schema markup either isn't there or was implemented incorrectly.
You want your store to appear as a cited source in AI-generated search answers - from ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google SGE, or Claude - and you understand that structured data is a significant factor in how AI assistants identify and reference credible sources.
You've implemented schema markup using a Shopify app and you're not confident it's correct - Google's Rich Results Test is showing warnings, or the rich snippets aren't appearing even though the app says they should.
You're building a content strategy around your blog or FAQ sections and you want the structured data in place from the start - so every piece of content that goes live has the right schema attached to it.
HOW WE WORK
Audited. Implemented Correctly.
Validated in Google's Own Tools.
Existing schema on the store reviewed using Google's Rich Results Test and the Schema Markup Validator. Errors, warnings, and missing schema types identified before any implementation starts.
Schema types mapped to page templates - which schemas go on product pages, collection pages, blog articles, and supporting pages. Liquid variables confirmed for dynamic data population per schema property.
Schema injected via Liquid snippets in the appropriate theme templates - not via a third-party app that may output incorrect or invalid markup. Dynamic data (price, availability, ratings) pulled from Shopify's Liquid objects directly.
Every schema type validated in Google's Rich Results Test. Search Console rich results report monitored for 30 days post-implementation to confirm schema is being parsed and rich snippets are appearing.
Sports & Outdoors
Store with 320 products, an active review app, and a blog with 40 articles. No schema markup beyond what Shopify's Dawn theme generated by default - which had 14 validation errors in Google's Rich Results Test. No FAQ schema. No Article schema. No Organization schema. Full implementation across all page templates. Star ratings appeared in Google search results within 3 weeks. FAQ rich results live on 6 key pages. Organic click-through rate up 22% at 60 days - same rankings, more clicks.

Reference
Schema markup is structured data - code added to your pages in JSON-LD format that tells search engines exactly what your content represents. For a Shopify store, Product schema tells Google the price, availability, and rating of a product. FAQPage schema tells Google which sections of your page are questions and answers. Organization schema tells Google (and AI assistants) who you are. Without schema, search engines make educated guesses about your content - with it, they know.
Shopify's default themes include some basic Product schema - but it's often incomplete or contains validation errors. Most themes don't include FAQPage schema, Article schema, Organization schema, or BreadcrumbList schema out of the box. Apps that claim to add schema often produce invalid markup that fails Google's Rich Results Test. The only reliable approach is a custom JSON-LD implementation built directly into the theme's Liquid templates.
Rich snippets are the enhanced search results you see in Google - star ratings on product pages, FAQ dropdowns in search results, article information with author and date. They're triggered by valid schema markup. A product page with correct AggregateRating schema shows stars in Google. A page with correct FAQPage schema gets the FAQ accordion in search results. These improve click-through rate without changing your ranking position.
Yes. AI search engines - ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google SGE, and Claude - use structured data as one of the signals they use to understand and cite content. FAQPage schema makes your Q&A content more readily extractable as a direct answer. Organization schema helps AI assistants identify your business as a named entity with consistent attributes. This is part of what's known as Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) - and schema is foundational to it.
Apps add schema via JavaScript injection - which is slower, sometimes duplicated, and often produces invalid markup because apps can't always access the same Liquid data that theme code can. Theme-level JSON-LD implementation is faster, more accurate, and doesn't depend on an app vendor maintaining correct schema as Google's requirements evolve. We always implement schema at the theme level.
A full schema implementation across all key page templates - Product, Review, FAQ, Organization, BreadcrumbList, and Article - typically takes 1 to 2 weeks. This includes the initial audit, implementation, and validation. Rich snippets begin appearing in Google search results within 2 to 4 weeks of implementation, depending on how quickly Googlebot recrawls the affected pages.
Tell us your store URL and whether you have existing schema in place. We'll scope the implementation and respond within 24 hours.
